What you can expect to learn

With a growing need for food pantries throughout the country, more providers will be needed to run food pantries in areas where food deserts exist and food insecurity is a real problem.

The FHL Missional Food Pantry Academy seeks to fill that need by training students through a hybrid platform of on-site discussions and online classes in the basic operations of a food pantry from a missional approach.  The course will include the following sessions:

Session 1: Introduction To Missional Community
Session 2: Pillars of Missional Food Pantry
Session 3: Getting Started and Leadership
Session 4: Volunteers and Operations
Session 5: Spiritual Relevance
Session 6: Focus On His Presence
